33-year-old found dead on railway track near Tomluk

Kolkata: A 33-year-old youth was found dead on the railway track near Tomluk railway station on Wednesday night.
The victim has been identified as Parimal Patra who was a resident of Damodarpur area under
Tomluk police station.
Locals informed the railway police that a body was lying on the railway track.
After being informed, police rushed to the spot and recovered the body and sent it for the post-mortem examination.
The incident happened on Digha-Tomluk railway
line at around 8.30 pm on Wednesday.
According to preliminary investigation, railway police suspect that
the victim might have been knocked down by a train.
Police are also investigating why the victim was walking along the
railway track.
They are not yet ruling out the possibility
of a foul play.
Police recovered some documents including Aadhar card from the victim
which makes the police believe that he might have
committed suicide.
Police are waiting for the post-mortem report which could throw
light on the cause of his death.
