3 B'deshi nationals held for carrying forged documents

Kolkata: Three Bangladeshi nationals, including a woman, were arrested from Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose International Airport (NSCBI) on the charge of carrying fake documents.

They have been identified as Seema Nayak, Anup Kumar Hari and Rintu Pal. They were all residents of Bangladesh. According to the preliminary investigation, police suspect that the accused were all touts who used to forge fake documents. After a lengthy interrogation, police suspect that they were part of a fake passport racket operating from the state. A probe is going on to know the names of other persons involved in the racket.
The officers examined the documents of the accused and found that they were carrying a fake passport. Later, they were called up for primary interrogation where they made some confusing statements. It may be mentioned here that police on Tuesday had arrested another Bangladeshi national from NSCBI Airport on charges of carrying a fake passport.
