Khattar seeks assessment of crop damages

Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Sunday said the state government has written to the Centre, demanding an assessment crop damages due to the untimely rains and hailstorms.
“Central ministers will evaluate the damage caused to crops. The state government has written a letter to the Central government in this regard,” Khattar said.
The government is already taking steps to compensate the affected farmers, he said.
Khattar on Sunday visited Shri Mata Mansa Devi Shrine in Panchkula on the second day of Navratra and offered prayers.
