Khattar announces reservation in promotion for SCs

Presiding over Ambedkar Jayanti celebrations in Rohtak and Kurukshetra, Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Tuesday announced that people belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC) would get benefit of reservation in promotions.
The CM aded that cases filed against them while they staged protest for this demand in past would also be withdrawn. He added that women police stations would be set up at every district headquarters in the state.
Recommendations of the Raghavendra Rao Committee would form the basis for the reservation as the state government has accepted and decided to implement it, he said.
