Khagragarh blast case: 30 charged

Among the 30 accused against whom the charges have been framed, 10 are still at large. The accused may express their views before the court after the NIA submits a supplementary charge-sheet on August 19 and 20.

NIA’s counsel Shyamal Ghosh said that the investigating officers have arrested 20 persons including two women – Gulshan Bibi and Alima Bibi for their involvement in operating a terror outfit from the area.

The NIA officials are yet to arrest 10 others including Yusuf, Burhah Seikh Nausad who were involved in the incident. In the course of the investigation the NIA has come to know that the Khagragarh accused were members of Jamat-Ul-Mujahidin of Bangladesh. 

The accused have been booked under various acts including the UAPA.
