Karishma is not thinking of films as of now, says Kareena

Bollywood actor Kareena Kapoor Khan says her sister and actor Karishma Kapoor is not going to make a comeback in Bollywood in the near future.

Daughter of actor Randhir Kapoor and Babita, Karishma gave some memorable performances in films like <g data-gr-id="31">Anari</g>, Raja Babu, Coolie No 1, Saajan Chale Sasural, and Jeet, but bagged laurels for her acting in Raja Hindustani, Biwi No 1 and Dil to Pagal Hai. Her critically acclaimed films include Fiza and <g data-gr-id="32">Shaym</g> Benegal's Zubeidaa.

“Right now she is very happy in her space. I doubt if she is ready for that (films) or not. She is not thinking of doing anything,” Kareena said. National award-winning actor  Karishma married Delhi-based industrialist <g data-gr-id="33">Sunjay</g> Kapur in 2003 and have two children - Samaira and <g data-gr-id="34">Kiaan</g> Raj. The couple had a difficult marriage and have filed for a mutual divorce.

She took a sabbatical after marriage but made a comeback in 2012 with film Dangerous Ishq which bombed at the box office.

“I don't think she wants to come on screen <g data-gr-id="24">again</g> but she does lots of advertisements as that doesn't take much time. She is looking more pretty after the kids and I don't think she can dedicate that much time,” she said. Kareena says she looks up to her sister and calls Karishma as her ‘inspiration.
