Karan to release Brothers on August 14

Karan Johar’s Brothers is all set to hit the theatres on the Independence Day weekend.

Directed by Karan Malhotra, Brothers stars Akshay Kumar, Sidharth Malhotra and Jacqueline Fernandez.

“The Producer-Director duo of #Agneepath return with #Brothers on 14th August. Excited much,” reads a post of the film’s Twitter page.

This film marks Malhotra’s third reunion with Johar after My Name Is Khan, where he acted as an assistant director, and Agneepath.

Brothers is said to be an official remake of the 2011 Hollywood film Warrior, which starred Joel Edgerton and Tom Hardy in the lead.
