Kanye settles videographer lawsuit with apology

Rapper Kanye West has agreed to settle a lawsuit brought by a videographer, Daniel Ramos, whom he allegedly attacked in 2013.

Ramos’s attorney, Gloria Allred, stated that West agreed to apologise to Ramos.

West and Ramos were also pictured shaking hands with West giving a smile to Ramos. Along with his apology to Ramos, West gave Ramos an unspecified amount of money, reported Ace Showbiz.

West was charged with misdemeanour battery, a charge helped by a fellow paparazzo’s video capturing the exchange.

He pleaded no contest to the misdemeanour battery last year and was sentenced to two years of probation, 24 anger management therapy sessions and 250 hours of community service.

Ramos sued West, 37, after he was being attacked on July 19, 2013 at LAX Airport. West was reported lunging at the paparazzo while trying to get into his car. He allegedly did it after he was being questioned by Ramos, “Kanye, why can’t we talk to you?”
