‘Kangana is one of the finest actors’

Director Vishal Bhardwaj is collaborating with Kangana Ranaut in his period drama Rangoon, and he says she is one of the finest actors in Bollywood today.

Kangana stars alongside Saif Ali Khan and Shahid Kapoor in the period love-triangle. While Bhardwaj has worked with Saif in Omkara and Shahid in Kaminey and Haider, he is working with the Queen star for the first time.

“Kangana is one of the finest actors that we have in the industry today. I always want to work with fine actors. I want to work with people like Irrfan and Kangana because they are such great actors,” Bhardwaj told PTI. Both Saif and Shahid have given their career’s best performance in Bhardwaj’s films and the director is confident that they will be great in Rangoon as well.

“They suit their roles and I like them a lot,” he added.

Bhardwaj will start working on Rangoon sometime around <g data-gr-id="19">mid-November</g> but the director denies that it is inspired by Casablanca.
