Kajol regrets leaving studies post school

Kajol made her acting debut when she was still in school and after that academics took a backseat. The actress regrets not taking her studies seriously and says she realised its importance late in life.
‘I never studied whole heartedly. And after completing my school education, when I started working, I realised the importance of education. I realised what I should have done. According to me, it was my mistake,’ said the actress who carved a niche for herself with hits like Baazigar, Dushman and Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge after making a tepid start with Bekhudi in 1992.
She urged students to take their education seriously.
‘I would like to tell my kids and other children to not repeat the mistake which I made in my childhood. So go ahead and study as much as you can. Knowledge is the only thing that nobody can take away from you,’ said the 38-year-old, who is married to actor Ajay Devgn. They have two children — daughter Nysa and son Yug.
