Juvenile held in connection with rag-picker’s murder

Four days after a rag-picker was killed and his co-worker, who used to work as a gardener was seriously injured in a South Delhi’s farmhouse, Delhi Police on Friday apprehended a juvenile in connection with the murder. Police said the juvenile killed him after a scuffle broke out between them.
The incident took place on Monday night and the matter came to light on early Tuesday when both were found unconscious at a farmhouse in South Delhi’s Fatehpur Beri area. 

 After getting information, police reached the spot and took both of them to a hospital where Panga Ram (40) was declared brought dead and Ram Kumar (36) was admitted with serious injuries. During the investigation, it was revealed that Ram used to stay in the farm house with Kumar. Police came to know that Ram was living alone and nobody was <g data-gr-id="48">aware about</g> his family background. A police officer said: “Ram Kumar stated that during the incident he along with Panga Ram was present in the <g data-gr-id="36">farm house</g> and a boy, who used to visit them and works in a nearby beverage <g data-gr-id="35">godown</g>, came and demanded money.”
