Jung wishes for peace & prosperity on Dussehra

Lieutenant-Governor Najeeb Jung on Monday extended Dussehra  wishes to Delhiites and prayed for peace, prosperity and happiness in the lives of all on the festive occasion.

“May the festival usher in peace, happiness and prosperity for all. May it strengthen our bonds ever more. I wish everyone a happy Dussehra,” Jung said in his message.

The festival of Dussehra is celebrated across the country to signify the victory of good over evil. 

It is the also celebration of Shakti and Bhakti and symbolises the inner struggle of humans to rise to higher levels of consciousness.

Extending his greetings to the people of Delhi on the occasion of Dussehra, Jung said the festival guides us in the “path of righteousness”.
