Judicial panel to probe 2013 election in Pak

The Pakistani government is ready to set up an independent Judicial Commission to probe the alleged rigging in the 2013 general elections, Planning and Development Minister Ahsan Iqbal said on Wednesday.

The announcement came after a fresh round of talks between Imran Khan’s Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party and the government was held late on Tuesday, Radio Pakistan reported.

The talks were held to resolve the differences over three points that were none of the sides have disclosed.

Finance Minister Ishaq Dar said the PTI apprised the government team over its three points that remained inconclusive during the previous round of talks.
