JU V-C seeks cooperation from colleagues to run varsity

Jadavpur University Vice Chancellor sought cooperation from his colleagues to run the university.

“I will continue to do my duty till I get cooperation from my fellow professors. But if I feel that my colleagues are not helping me to run the institution, then it will be my last day here,” said Vice Chancellor Suranjan Das, while addressing the gathering at University’s Convocation Ceremony.

“Coordination is must to run the show. I alone cannot run the university. I need help from the others,” Das said at the convocation while a large number of professors belonging to Left Front led Jadavpur University Teachers Association and All Bengal University Teachers’ Association staged demonstration against university authority. I will leave my chair if I could not work here. But I am seeking strong cooperation and good coordination of work from colleagues to run the university” Das added.
