Jobs for ker medal winners

Kerala government wil be giving jobs to National Games medal winners from the state. Gold, silver and bronze medal winners in individual sports and gols medal winners team sports will be eligible to get jobs in tune with their educational qualificatons. Detailed guidelines on the offer will be issued, an official press release issued here on Saturday said. Meanwhile, even as controversies sparked by flaws in the conduct of 35th National Games in Kerala refuse to die down, state sports minister Thiruvanchroor Radhakrishnan said government was ready for any probe into the charges. Talking to reporters here on Saturday, Radhakrishnan said the decision to host the games were taken as back as 2007 and the ministers who held the sports portfolio since then had involvement in the preparations of the event. It was during CPI-M led LDF rule that the funds were diverted for consturcting stadia which was not used for the Games purpose.
