JNU students stage protest march

A group of Left wing student organisations led a protest march from Ganga Dhaba to Administration Block on Monday night. The students were protesting against the proctoral inquiry that led to suspension of 12 students along with expression of solidarity against the notice given to JNU professor Nivedita Menon who had criticised the move to suspend 12 students.

Twelve students were suspended by JNU Administration after charging them with disrupting the Academic Council meeting on December 26. The student organisations that participated in the protest included AISF, Birsa Ambedkar Phule Students Association (BAPSA) Bhagat Singh Ambedkar Students Organisation (BASO) AND Delhi Students Federation (DSF).
