JNU student molested by known duo

A 24-year-old JNU student was allegedly molested by two students known to her while she was returning to her hostel. The two accused have been arrested. The incident was reported to police on Friday night. The victim, a student of English literature told the police that the two accused, identified as Gautam (22) and Rajeev (28), have been harassing her for the past six months and on Friday they passed derogatory remarks and physically assaulted her. Gautam is a BA student, while Rajeev is doing his Ph.D at JNU.

In another incident, a 17-year-old girl was allegedly raped at gunpoint at a computer training centre in Greater Noida on 8 June, but complained on Saturday. The accused has been arrested.
