The concert was said to be a typical J-Lo affair, i.e. lots of skimpy outfits and sexy dance moves. But the group aren’t fans of Lopez’s raunchy act and wrote that the performance “disturbed public order and tarnished women?s honour and respect.”
According to the BBC, local media criticised the singer for her “suggestive poses” and for being “scantily” dressed during the performance.
A number of MPs have also requested that the “education, culture and communications committee of parliament hold a meeting” to discuss why the show was broadcast.
The country’s minister of communications, Mustapha Khalifi, has also been called to resign for allowing the performance to air in the first place.
