Japanese scribe detained in Iraq

Japanese government spokesman Yoshihide Suga on Tuesday said Japan was aware that journalist, Kosuke Tsuneoka, was being detained by “government authorities of the Kurdish region.” Tsuneoka was reporting on the battle to recapture Mosul from the Islamic State.
