Janata Parivar leaders sided with BJP in past for power: CPI

Senior CPI leader Atul Kumar Anjaan on Friday said that claims of the ‘Janata Parivar’ of working for farmers’ interest and opposing communal forces do not suit its leaders as they have “sided with the BJP for power in the past.”
“Those who are following the footsteps of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his policies and have tasted fruits of success with the help of BJP in the past do not look good speaking about farmers’ interest or opposing communal forces,” Anjaan told media persons here.
“Though the unity among ‘Janata Parivar’ leaders is worth welcoming, Janata Dal (U) leader Nitesh Kumar is recourse in a lie,” he said.
