Jamia Millia Islamia celebrates Hindi Day

On the occasion of 'Hindi Day', Hindi division of Jamia Millia Islamia organised a poem reading session on 7 september, at media resource center.Nearly 12 poets participated in the session and presented their creations.Amongst the poets, Chanderdev Yadav, Dilip Shakya, Abdul Rehman Musavir and Rajesh Kumar Manjhi, from Jamia university also participated. The poem reading session which was telecast on the Jamia radio on 14 september.
A debate competition was also organised on 14 September in which employees of Jamia university participated.Besides this, a seminar was also organised in which Puran Chand Tandon and Chandra dev Yadav put forth their views on the topic Hindi ke bante bigadte swarup mein jansanchar madhyamo ki bhumika [The role of mass communication media in the face of changing faces of India].
