Jadeja puts Saurashtra in driver’s seat

Ravindra Jadeja snared up six wickets as Saurashtra dismissed Tripura for 103 to enforce a follow on at stumps on day two of the Group C match in the Ranji Trophy here on Friday.

Tripura <g data-gr-id="15">were</g> struggling in their second innings too, ending the day at 11 for three with Jadeja picking up two wickets to take his match haul to eight. 

Jadeja, out of the Indian team, was menacing with his left-arm spin after scoring a solid 91 on day one. Saurashtra, resuming the day at 270 for six, added 47 runs to their first innings total to post 307.

Sheldon Jackson, who was batting on 82 overnight, was dismissed by Tushar Saha three runs short of a hundred.
