Jab Tak Hain Jaan: SRK sets a 13 November romance date
When SRK returns to the Yash Chopra banner after a hiatus of almost seven years — romance is most definitely on the cards. The trailer of Jab Tak Hain Jaan was released online on Thursday garnering a barrage of likes and shares almost immediately. Clearly, the audience wants King Khan back on screen.

The trailer shows Shah Rukh sporting two looks — the rugged army guy in Ladakh with Anushka Sharma and the suave other man who romances Katrina Kaif all over London.

While the landscapes of Ladakh look stunning in the backdrop and Shah Rukh braves the terrain on a Bullet, London looks the perfect Yash Chopra romance site.

Gulzar’s poetry runs throughout the trailer that spans over two and a half minutes switching effortlessly between shots of Ladakh and London with a nice, catchy background score.

While one cannot quite fathom the love story Yash Chopra has set up for this flick, but the women look gorgeous in the trailer. Anushka has her trademark effortless ‘girl from next door in khakis and shorts’ going for her while Katrina Kaif is the waif-like pretty woman in her flowing dresses.

Shah Rukh’s rugged army look seems to work better for him than the clean cut handsome guy — we’ve seen enough of the smooth guy earlier.

However, the better part of the trailer seems to be a new side of SRK. Maturing beyond the lover of Mohabbatein and the likes, Shah Rukh seems to have transformed into  a more real person for the role.

He loves, he remembers with happiness and heartache, he says he won’t forgive but then the boy is a man now — he moves on.

As the trailer shows, he perhaps  finds heartbreak, not once but twice in the span of the movie,  he still is the perfect Bollywood lover — albeit a much more mature and experienced one.

Perhaps that is what Jab Tak Hai Jaan is about – we can only be hopeful.
