It is a shiny phase for me: Anushka
Actor Anushka Sharma says she is having a shiny phase in her career. Anushka made her Bollywood debut opposite Shah Rukh Khan in Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi and gave hit films like Band Baja Baarat, PK and Dil Dhadakane Do.
“As long as I am doing and films that excite me I am happy. I am happy with the way things are going for me. I have also produced a film. It is a shiny phase,” Anushka told a <g data-gr-id="54">media</g> person.
For Anushka, being honest is the most important thing in life.
“I give importance to honesty. It is important to be honest... To be a true person... All this gives me strength. I feel stronger because I don’t have anything to hide,” Anushka said.
Also, freedom is another important thing for Anushka.
“Freedom means everything...freedom to act out my feeling. “I cannot confine...Restrict thoughts. I am a responsible person I want to exercise my thoughts,” Anushka said.
When asked if the actor will promote fairness products she said she would not prefer doing so.
“I would not endorse products that propagate racist and <g data-gr-id="44">sexiest</g> (beliefs)....and propagate social taboo. I don’t want to endorse products that propagate fair skin and all. I will not propagate anything that says this is right or wrong,” Anushka told reporters at an event here this evening.
Leading shampoo brand Pantene has appointed Anushka as their brand ambassador and the 27-year-old actress is happy and proud to be associated with the hair care product owned by FMCG major Procter & Gamble.
“We have to look good...our hair does get damaged due to straightening...tonging. We have to do something that helps our hair look good and healthy,” she said, dwelling on benefits of using shampoo. “While I was shooting for “NH 10” my hair had to look dirty in the film. To improve the texture...quality of hair I had to use a lot of <g data-gr-id="49">conditioner</g>,” she said.
