Issue raised in Lok Sabha

The reported assault of some youth from Sikkim by fellow students from Himachal Pradesh at a Chandigarh institute where they study figured in Lok Sabha on Friday, prompting the government to assure that it will be looked into.
PD Rai of Sikkim Democratic Front referred to the incident at Institute of Technology and Future Trends (ITFT) during the Zero Hour.
Responding to this, Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs Rajiv Pratap Rudy said it is the responsibility of the central government to look into the matter and it will be done.
