Indian Super League champions Chennaiyin FC has announced the signing of Dutch midfielder Hans Mulder for the upcoming edition of the Indian Super League (ISL). Mulder played for Delhi Dynamos in the first two ISL campaigns and now joins Chennaiyin FC.
With 28 appearances, Mulder is ranked in the top five of most games in ISL history. One of his three ISL goals came in Delhi’s 2-2 draw with Chennaiyin in season one.
“I enjoyed my two years in India while playing for Delhi. When Marco Materazzi showed interest in me, I instantly made up my mind of joining Chennaiyin. I am looking forward to playing for such a consistent team and hope to win my first ISL title with them,” Mulder said.
“Mulder had two very consistent seasons in the ISL. We were keen to add his quality and experience in our midfield this year.” “So we are very happy to have signed him and believe in him to have another strong campaign,” said Chennaiyin manager Marco Materazzi.
