Integrity pact: THDCIL signs MoU with Transparency International

THDC India Ltd, one of the country's premier hydro power generators, has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Transparency International India (TII) on 'Integrity Pact' in order to to promote and strengthen transparency in procurement and contract management.

The pact was signed at the company's corporate office by its chairman and managing director (CMD) RST Sai and Transparency International India Chairman P S Bawa as part of the concluding events of Vigilance Awareness Week.

Addressing the gathering on the occasion, Sai stressed the need for good governance and ethical behaviour in all business dealings.

Independent external monitors Rajan Nair and R D Gupta, THDC India Director (Finance) C P Singh, Director (Technical) D V Singh, Director (Personnel) S K Biswas and CVO Himansu Badoni were present on the occasion.THDCIL is a Mini Ratna Category-I and Schedule A Status company, with the commissioning of the Tehri and Koteshwar dams among its achievements.
