Indigo to charge huge Rs 2,250 per cancellation

Budget carrier IndiGo is all set to charge Rs 2,250 fee from its customers wanting to cancel their domestic flight tickets, a move that is likely to attract some queries from the aviation regulator, Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA). The revised charges are to come into effect from tomorrow, as per the Gurgaon-based carrier’s website. Fee for tickets cancelled up to two hours before the scheduled departure of the flight will be Rs 2,250, according to the airlines.
