India reach Fed Cup final

Indian women stormed into the final of the Fed Cup (Group-II) Asia-Oceania tennis meet on Friday following another one-sided 2-0 victory over Turkmenistan. In singles, Prarthana G Thombare beat Jahana Bayramova 6-0, 6-2 while Ankita Raina thrashed Anastafiya Prenko 6-1, 6-2 as the hosts breezed into the summit round of the event being conducted at the Lal Bahadur Shastri Stadium.
