IM sleeper cells active in Delhi: Jundal

There is a possibility that sleeper cells of Indian Mujahideen (IM) are active in the national capital. 'During interrogation, Abu Jundal told officers of the Special Cell of the Delhi Police that about half dozen sleeper cells of IM are active in Delhi and NCR,' sources told Millennium Post.

According to the sources, there are a few phone numbers that have been kept under surveillance. These phone numbers have some relation with the 26/11 attack in Mumbai.

The security agencies are keeping a track of the active sleeper cells as identified by Abu Jundal. Millennium Post has also learnt that special surveillance is on in Kailibhata area in Uttar Pradesh. It is a small village, but security agencies suspect IM terrorists might have hide outs there. Also, few areas of Saharanpur are being closely watched.

A few days back, the security agencies have detained nine suspects from various parts of the country. These persons have been detained on the basis of the tip-offs by local Intelligence Unit.
