IGNOU takes steps for BEd students

The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has introduced one-time measure for the benefit of students pursuing or having completed BEd programme. On the recommendations of the School of Education, Vice-Chancellor of the University has approved that the course of four credits of BEd is equivalent to 100 marks and the course of eight credits is equivalent to 200 marks. Accordingly, the maximum marks for the BEd programme up to academic session 2000-2001 to 2008-2009 are 1,100. Similarly, maximum marks after that will be 1,300.
