Idea Cellular reduces data tariffs by as much as 90%

In a bid to promote mobile broadband penetration, Idea Cellular on Tuesday slashed 2G data tariffs by up to 90 per cent across the country and 3G tariffs by as much as 33 per cent for six months starting 15 November.

The reduced tariffs will be available to existing and new prepaid and postpaid users, the company said in a statement.
