Oscar-winning actor Russell Crowe, who is making his directorial debut with The Water Diviner, says he wouldn’t mind stealing an idea for a project from someone as long as it is ‘good’.
“I would steal from anyone if the idea if good. But that’s the life of any creative person. You can’t help but be influenced. We keep looking for inspiration at various places and that’s the process,” Crowe said in a statement.
Inspired by true historical events, the film was shot in Istanbul’s bustling markets and in the glorious Blue Mosque.
