ICC approve Jamshed as replacement

ICC on Sunday approved Nasir Jamshed as replacement for injured Mohammad Hafeez in Pakistan’s WC squad. The Event and Technical Committee of the WC approved the replacement. The 25-year-old left-handed opener has played 45 ODIs scoring 1,413 runs with three centuries and 50s. His last ODI was against New Zealand in Abu Dhabi in December 2014. Pakistan are in Pool B along with defending champions India, West Indies, South Africa, Zimbabwe, Ireland and United Arab Emirates.
