ICAI holds citizen awareness meet

 ICAI has been chosen as the preferred institution to partner the Government of India to create awareness and maximise the potential of the Income Declaration Scheme, 2016.

Arun Jaitley, Finance Minister, Atulesh Jindal, Chairman, CBDT, Rani Singh Nair, Member (L&T), M Devaraja Reddy, President, ICAI, along with other senior officials of CBDT addressed the viewers during the program. Dr Girish Ahuja, FCA, enlightened the members and viewers about the Scheme and the relevant issues.

This program was webcasted live to more than 100 branches of ICAI and was attended by around 15,000 citizens, including Chartered Accountants, Company Secretaries, Advocates, Members from Trade aand Industry Hasmukh Adhia, Revenue Secretary, Ministry of Finance, also addressed the audience in the program held at Pune.

 The program turned out to be a great event and would definitely go a long way in making the Scheme a huge success.
