‘I love lounging in pajamas'

No matter how de-glam Sonam Kapoor chooses to be in her films, the fashionista tag simply refuses to leave her. But Sonam doesn’t care, for fashion is something she is truly attached to.
Reason why she was in town for ‘friend’ Anamika Khanna’s offsite show in a Mehrauli multi-design store. No, she wasn’t the showstopper, even though she was donning a signature Anamika Khanna sari gown which she flaunted happily despite complaining that it was a little ‘uncomfortable’ to walk around in it.
‘Why don’t you give me something like what you are wearing?’ she happily cribbed to her friend, who instead advised her to remain seated.
Will Sonam be buying some from Khanna’s new collection? ‘I have two wardrobes just of her clothes. I haven’t managed to wear all of them yet,’ Sonam told Millennium Post.
A news wire report recently quoted Sonam saying she considers herself to be ‘stylish’ and not sexy. But the fashionista denied making any such remark. ‘People write a lot of things about me,’ quipped Sonam.
After numerous instances of shooting from the mouth, has she willingly chosen to steer clear of controversies? ‘I never wanted to be controversial but somehow I always seem to get involved [in controversy],’ said the 27-year-old.
What is style according to her? ‘It is about being an individual. Style depends on your tastes,’ said the actor.
With two of her films in the pipeline [Raanjhna and Bhaag Milkha Bhaag], Soman says she is going to be seeing a lot of Delhi now. ‘I love Delhi and I am coming back soon to shoot here,’ she said. So what next for her? ‘Come on, I am busy doing two films already. Do you want me to do more?’ Sonam asked. And what does she do in the little free time that she gets in between shooting? ‘Lounge about in my pajamas,’ she laughed. Find that funny anyone?
