I don’t believe in shortcuts: Freddy Daruwala

Freddy is learning martial arts to prepare for his role. Freddy has hired a martial arts trainer and is learning Judo and Krav Maga to make the action scenes look believable and real. “People appreciated my acting and I am overwhelmed. I want people to appreciate my others skills as well and that’s a hard way task. So I believe in no mistake and no shortcut policy. I am ready to give what it takes,” Freddy said.

The actor says he took inspiration from late Hollywood actor Paul Walker for his role in the forthcoming action film.

When Freddy learnt about his character and look in Commando 2, the first image that came to his mind was that of Paul Walker from Fast & Furious 7. “Paul Walker has always been one of my favourite actors”. Produced by Vipul Shah, the film also stars Vidyut Jamwal, Esha Gupta, Adah Sharma. Directed by Deven Bhojani, the film is set to release on January 6.
