I am going to be a caretaker of Krishna Nagar, says Bedi

It was Bedi’s first meeting with the office bearers at her constituency. She is going to file her nomination on Wednesday.

Union minster Harsh Vardhan, East Delhi MP Maheish Girri were present at the party’s district level meeting to chalk out the party’s election strategy.

Talking to party workers, Bedi said: “I was hoping that Dr Harsh Vardhan would become the Delhi CM after the last assembly election. However, BJP fell short from getting full mandate then and could not form the government in Delhi. I hope this time we will get full majority to form the government, and if I will have any problem, I will come back to Dr Vardhan for guidance.” She said if Vardhan would’ve been the Delhi CM last year, Delhi would’ve seen better growth and development.

Bedi said if BJP comes to power, government dispensaries will not shut down after 2 pm. “There are many private doctors, homeopathic doctors as well ayurvedic doctors whom we’ll rope in.

“Every government officer would be on the road by 9 am to review the work of their department and they will give me a monthly report. We will also set up a call centre to address the grievances of the public,” she added.

Vardhan said Bedi was like an elder sister to him.
