HS toppers share future plans

Swagatam Haldar, who has stood first in the Higher Secondary Examination this year from Panchasayar Siksha Niketan, has expressed his desire to do research on science.

 Swagatam could not believe in his own eyes when he first saw that his name was flashed on the television channels. He and his family members were overwhelmed when the news first came that he had ranked first in this year Higher Secondary examinations. 

Swagatam has said that he believed that he would perform well but he never expected that he would rank first. He gives the credit of his success to his parents and school teachers who had stood by his side always and boosted his confidence.

 The methodical study has been the main cause of his success. Now he wants to appear in the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations which is scheduled to take place tomorrow. Swagatam is appearing in the engineering examinations.

 He is however opening all options before him as he said that he might pursue Physics or Mathematics Honours if he does not get expected result in the engineering examinations. He also expressed that he might explore the field of research as he had a long cherished dream of becoming a researcher on science. 

Apart from studying Swagatam used to watch various cricket ad football matches on television. He used to read various story books and detective books in the pass time. He had also kept himself engaged in computer to ensure that the study does not become monotonous for him. 

Riddho Ghosh has jointly ranked fifth with 488 marks. He is from Scottish Church Collegiate School in Kolkata. Ridhho also said that he did not expect such result. He was confident that he would score good marks but he never expected that he would find fifth place in the Higher Secondary Examinations. 

He said that giving mock tests and thoroughly solving test papers was his key for success. Before the examination he used to spend most of the time by studying. Watching sports, listening to news channels and doing whatsapp with his friends were his favourite pass time. Ridhho wants to become an engineer.
