Hotstar to stream Kabaddi WC in 3D virtual reality

Leading video streaming platform Hotstar on Thursday said that it will stream the upcoming Kabaddi World Cup in stereoscopic 3D Virtual Reality (VR), which will offer a panoramic view of the game. The Kabaddi World Cup games will be shot in stereoscopic 3D using two camera pods (in addition to the multi camera set up of the traditional production) including 12 cameras per pod, which allows for immersive production and stereoscopic capture, Hotstar said in a statement.

The live VR stream for the Kabaddi World Cup will be available to fans in two formats.
