Honouring fine art achievers

Delhi Collage of Art (Kollage) is about to celebrate an Award ceremony and convocation for this year where eminent alumni/alumna artists will be awarded for their contribution in the field of art. 

The awards include the likes of Lifetime Achievement Award, DCA – Pride and many more. The ‘B C Sanyal Award’ which came into existence nine  years ago in the memory of the doyen of modernism in Indian Art, Bhabesh Chandra Sanyal, will be given out to eminent artists and high profile art lecturers/teachers for their achievements. 

The prominent awardees for life time achievement have been MF Hussain, Krishan Khanna, Keshav Malik, Jatin Das,  Jai Jharotia,  Manjit Bawa, Anjolie Ela Menon, Ram V Sutar. Awardees for BC Sanyal award have been Niren Sen Gupta, Zargar Zahoor,  Paramjit Singh, Anupam Sud, Pranam Singh, Kanchan Chander, Sudhir Tailang, Subodh Gupta, Neeraj Goswami and many more. Among the awardees this year, will be the best from the current batch of students. The gala event will also witness cultural performances by the students and presence of many other artists. 

For about one and a half decade, Delhi Collage of Art, a pioneer fine art institute/school, has been helping numerous students and artists from across the country achieve their dreams. With an aim to liberalise fine art education, Delhi Collage of Art has taken commendable steps to make art education affordable and available for all. The institution holds tremendous fame and name for its all-inclusive, holistic, and industry-specific courses and classes, such as Painting, Sketching, Applied Art, Sculpture, Art Teaching and Photography. 

With a view to further strengthen its commitments towards fine art and artists, Delhi Collage of Art organises many exhibitions, events, educational tours, and lifetime achievement awards.
