Hitz booked for damaging penalty spot

German football club FC Augsburg’s goalkeeper Marwin Hitz received a bill for £89.15 (around $135) by the head of Cologne’s sporting venues (KSS) after he was caught damaging the penalty spot during a Bundesliga match against FC Koln. The 28-year-old scuffed up the spot as a decision to award a penalty to the home side was debated during the match at the weekend.
