Hirani tight-lipped about Sanjay Dutt's biopic

There has been news that filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani is contemplating a biopic on his good friend and Sanjay Dutt, who is currently in jail. However, he is not yet ready to make any official announcement regarding the project. Sanjay, who has featured in endearing roles in Hirani's Munna Bhai series, is currently serving the sentence at Yerawada Jail. When asked Hirani about the plans of making a biopic on Sanjay, he said: ‘I'm here for MAMI, so please let's stick to this subject.’ ‘I personally enjoy biopics, and I like the fact that Hollywood is making biopics on unknown people. Biopics are fascinating, but not too many of them are being made here... but I feel it's too early to announce about Sanjay Dutt's biopic,’ he added.
