Highway gets a slow start at BO

The film received a slow start at the box office and only minted Rs 13.97 crore in its opening weekend.
The film earned only Rs 3.42 on its opening day; however the business jumped only marginally on the weekend. Trade Analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted, ‘#Highway Fri 3.42 cr, Sat 4.80 cr, Sun 5.75 cr. Total: Rs 13.97 cr nett. India biz only.’ Alia Bhatt, who is seen in a no make-up look in the film, is quite appreciated for her role.
Even her father Mahesh Bhatt went out to say that Highway is Alia Bhatt's Arth. Directed by Imtiaz Ali, the film also stars Randeep Hooda in lead role. Preity Zinta, who has watched Highway, believes Alia Bhatt, who played her younger version in 1999 film Sangharsh, will go a long way in filmdom.
