High madrasah results out, girls outshine boys

Girls outshine boys in High madrasah examination whose result was announced on Friday. Also, the results of Alim and Fazil exams were declared. Sumana Khatun has topped the list of High madrasah examination. Out of first 10 students, eight are girls. The examination was held between February 15 and March 19. Altogether 65,397 students appeared for the exam which is 6,709 more than the number of students who had appeared last year. The pass percentage on high madrasah examination is 78.6. In Alim it is 78.10 per cent and in Fazil it is 80.05 per cent. Maulana Samsujja has topped the list in Alim examination by scoring 808 marks. Shamim Mondol has topped the list in Fazil examination by scoring 529 marks.

Because of various initiatives taken up by Mamata Banerjee more and more Muslim girls are receiving education. This was proved in Friday’s results when 8 out of first 10 students are girls. The examination was conducted by the West Bengal madrasah Education Board.
