This seven day food festival has vendors from Purani Dilli who has showcased some of the most delectable, mouth watering cuisines. Delhi Tourism has brought the culinary delights of these age old eateries of Purani Dilli out in to the open for everyone to enjoy.

Apart from the culinary delights, the venue of Dilli Ke Pakwaan has it all for everyone. Special theme gates in the form of samosa and malai tikka have been designed in the entry gates. Theme corners of Punjab and Rajasthan have also been created, where visitors enjoyed the taste and also got a vivid glimpse of its culture and tradition.

Visitors were delighted to savor the Chicken Nihari, Changezi Chicken,  Chicken Tikka, Kabab, Special Chaat etc of Purani Dilli. A stall having 25 different types of Kulfi attracted visitors, where they savored the unique flavors of kulfi.

Around 45 vendors serving over 150 varieties of food items, have participated in this year’s food festival where, visitors with a sweet tooth, fans of veggies, non – vegetarians or people who enjoy only fish can enjoy and relish this delectable platter on offer.

There are activity zones in each corner of the venue. A special kids zone has been designed where kids were seen enjoying. Besides, a Cotton Candy free for children, Puppet Show, Astrologer will be some ingenious attraction at this seven day event.  To celebrate the festive season Christmas Tree’s has been placed in various locations at the venue to mark the arrival of Christmas. A Graffiti Wall have been placed at the venue of Dilli Ke Pakwaan where visitors write about their experiences about the food of Delhi. A special Sarangi show by Kamal Sabri enthralled the visitors in the evening and made the venue more colorful.

This seven day event will have various competitions such as quiz contest and painting competition for children, demonstration of food recipes. The festival is open from 11.00 am to 9.00 pm everyday and entry is free to the visitors.
