HC extends relief to AAP’s Jarnail Singh

In a relief to AAP MLA Jarnail Singh, the Delhi high court on Thursday delayed his arrest till September 7. Singh had allegedly assaulted a civic body engineer.

After the Delhi Police opposed Singh’s anticipatory bail plea, Justice <g data-gr-id="11">Indermeet</g> Kaur asked the police not to give "unnecessary hype" to the issue and treat it as normal matter. The police told the court that Singh was not cooperating in the probe. The court was hearing an anticipatory bail plea of Singh, Tilak Nagar MLA.
