Hasmukhrai elected ICSI prez, Binani V-P

Atul Hasmukhrai Mehta has been elected president of The Institute of Company Secretaries of India and Mamta Binani vice-president for the year 2015 with effect from Monday, January 19. Mehta holds a B Com and BGL and is an ICSI fellow member. He started practice as founder of Mehta & Mehta in 1996.
Initially, he served industry for six years as company secretary in various industries. Along with the Secretarial Department, he also headed departments like Legal, Compliance and HR.
Binani is a Commerce graduate and ICSI Fellow Member. She was the national topper among women in the ICSI Intermediate Examinations. In the Final Examinations, she stood first in ‘Company Law’. She has been practising as a company secretary for over 15 years.
Mamta Binani is also facilitator for some very prestigious programmes conducted by professional institutes of India.
