Haryana to seek help of Ramdev for promoting Yoga

Haryana government will seek help of Baba Ramdev to promote Yoga and Ayurveda in the state. A delegation led by the state health minister Anil Vij will meet Ramdev at his Maharshi Patanjali Yogpeeth Ashram in Haridwar on January 15 to hold discussions for promoting Yoga and Ayurveda in Haryana, state government on Wednesday said. “On Wednesday Yoga is recognised all over the world and Baba Ramdev has invaluable contribution in it,” Vij said in a release here. Haryana government on January 12 announced to make Yoga compulsory in all schools and equip all sports stadiums with a yoga centre.
