Haryana discoms officers asked to hold open darbars

The officers of the Haryana Discoms-Dakshin Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam and Uttar Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam- have been asked by State power minister Ajay Singh Yadav to organise ‘open darbars’ in villages and towns to address complaints of the consumers.

Yadav has issued instructions that an Executive engineer would organise atleast 10 such ‘darbars’ each month during summers and a Superintending engineer will hold at least one ‘darbar’ a week, a spokesman of the DHBVN said today.

The spokesman said that the Minister has given instructions to display his e-mail ID- powerm@hry.nic.in- at prominent places and in offices of the discoms so as to facilitate people to reach to him easily.

All other e-mail IDs, telephone numbers, SMS facility meant for facilitating consumers to lodge their complaints easily should also be displayed and published in different means of information dissemination, Yadav has directed.
